Alamo Scout Galen Kittleson passed away Thursday night, May 4th in his hometown of Toeterville, Iowa. Galen and Bob Sumner were co-founders of the Alamo Scouts Association. As a member of the Nellist Team, Galen was a participant on the Cabanatuan POW Camp raid. He will be missed by all of us that knew him. U.S. Army Special Forces soldiers carry the casket of Galen Kittleson from the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Toeterville on Monday. Kittleson was a member of the Green Berets, serving in the 7th Special Forces Group at Fort Bragg, N.C., at the time of his retirement. More on the Funeral.
