Author Lance Zedric and Alamo Scout Conrad Vineyard were recently guest speakers at the prestigious Dr. Harold C. Deutsch World War II History Round Table in Minneapolis, on Thursday, October 9th.  The monthly program, attended by more than 350 historians, veterans, and guests, examines prominent military leaders, units, and operations of World War II, and features an academic overview by an historian in conjunction with firsthand accounts from veterans.

"The program was an outstanding success," said Zedric.  "The story of the Alamo Scouts is amazing, but it's even more amazing when such an illustrious group of veterans that attended left shaking their heads at what the Alamo Scouts accomplished.  Programs like this are invaluable in educating the public as to what the Scouts did in World War II."
