Ileto, a 1943 West Point graduate and former Alamo Scout team leader, retired as Chief of Staff of the Philippine Army, and later served in several high capacities within the Philippine government, including Ambassador to Iran, Ambassador to Thailand, and Secretary of National Defense.

Former Alamo Scout, Kenneth Cameron, on the cover of Strength & Health Magazine. As a top bodybuilder and weightlifter in the 1950s, Cameron won several titles, including Mr. Muscle Beach and Mr. Los Angeles, and placed in the Mr. America contest.

Graduate of Alamo Scouts Training Center; requalified for jump status in 1944; Lead Scout, 11th Airborne Division Recon Platoon throughout combat; Made two combat jumps and Amphibious Assault. Major Awards: Two Silver Stars; Two Bronze Stars with "V" device for valor; Purple Heart; Two Presidential Unit Citations; Philippine Presidential Unit Citation; Combat Infantry Badge; Special Forces Tab; Parachute Wings w/two stars; Four Campaign Stars and Bronze Arrowhead.
